The pizza was great, very authentic with a paper thin crust, just the right amount of sauce and fresh mushrooms and ham. The ½ liter of chianti was passable and the tiramisu was wonderful. The only problem we had was that the waitress who started to wait on us didn't appear to want to answer even one question about an item on the menu. Although the place was busy there were a few tables and she could have been kind e... View all feedback.
What Heather Bechtelar doesn't like about Ristorante Rossini:
In any new city I visit, I always check out an Italian place or two for a margherita pizza. Rossini is certainly not a restaurant I would recommend to anyone. While the staff was friendly and attentive, the food was as bland as it comes. I couldn't even taste the sauce and the "basil" just sort of walked by my pie. I've had better pizzas at dominos. Additionally, when I tried to pay with a credit card, I was informed... View all feedback.
Service a little slow but food was very nice, Calzone was perfect, overall good value for money. Nice little outdoor seating area opposite main restaurant.
We found Rossinis by chance and decided to have a meal.We were quickly show to a table in the garden opposite the restaurant. We were promptly given menus. Only one problem not a lot of the menu is in English but we managed to decipher it and ordered just a main course and drinks.I had tortellini with a creamy mushroom and ham sauce my husband had pasta with a meat bolognese sauce.Drinks arrived promptly followed by our meals which were lovely, we were given a dish of Parmesan cheese to help ourselves and lovely crusty bread. We then ordered deserts I had profiteroles my husband tiramisu and two glasses of limoncello. Fantastic deserts, the limoncello could have done with being kept in a freezer but lovely to finish a great meal. Service all round was very good the waiters and waitress worked very hard. Well done.
