Came for a late night drink so can't vouch for the food except a very good plate of cold meats we tried a number of interesting small l Austrian producers including some natural wines which were all top quality . Large selection by the glass our bill ranged from €2,90 to €5,20 per 1/16th so certainly something for everyone.

The outstanding knowledge of all the staff always leads to great conversations and one gets the feeling of almost being respected as a wine expert : For me personally it is my home away from home, and what I love the most is: Places offering wines as great as these are usually rather posh and not homely. This one is plain, simple, and friendly. A place definitely not to be missed if you ever visit Vienna!

On our first night we strolled across this little gem of a wine bar just one minute down the road .. and we returned every night without fail .. I think that says A lot in itself! The wine was beautiful, there was a large selection all reasonably priced, so there is lots to try. The atmosphere inside the bar was lovely, very cosy and intimate. We didn't try the food, but we saw it being freshly prepared every night and it smelt beautiful! On the last night I decided to try a dessert the creme brûlée.. I wish I had tried this sooner as I would have had one every night, it was absolutely divine! Just one more thing ... The bar tender/ chef/ waiter is all one person and he is a really nice guy, whom is very attentive and answers all questions you may have.

We were looking for something out of the hustle of the ring area on our last night in Vienna and Klemo did not disappoint. The service was excellent. Our server spent as much time with us as we wanted talking about the wines we ordered and making recommendations. We started with an 8 glass tasting picked by our server. He explained why he had picked each and which ones we would want to focus on comparing. We happily sipped and munched on their charcuterie platter for ages, not feeling rushed at all. When we were ready for a main dish, he had an excellent recommendation for a wine to match each. The food was perfect, a small, well thought out menu that includes lots of small plates and handmade pasta that was excellent.
