Pizzeria Roma - Vienna

This is outside the main tourist area and was full of natives. a large group celebrates a birthday. the waiter, a very pleasant young man, spoke excellent English and was very helpful. eating was very cheap, the pizza freshly cooked and for me a...big plus. the place does not smell of cigarette smoke.

Looking at it from the outside, Ristorante Roma appears inviting and cozy. Once inside this image is not quite different. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the service is relatively fast and prices are what we could nicely afford. A problem though is the...cigarette smoke coming out of the smoking section, which is separated from the rest of the establishment by a glass door. Unfortunately, like in a number of other places in Vienna, this door is almost never closed. The Crusts of the Pizzas were nicely done and tasty. Unfortunately the toppings had the distinct taste of canned food. This did not make the Pizzas taste horrible, but we found it a pity that a nicely prepared crust was rather undermined by the canned taste of the toppings. The pizzas were large and were able to satisfy our huge hunger for food after a long walk. Unfortunately, we did not have the deserts as we felt so full.There weren't many other customers but we did see a number of people coming in to take away pre-ordered food. The few other customers were also friendly. Definitely wort a visit if you are in the vicinity and need a large helping for satisfying your hunger at somewhat affordable rates. A shift to fresher (uncanned) toppings and a properly separated smoking section will certainly inspire us to visit this friendly place again to try the Pizza with the deserts this time.

Ich habe in der Nähe in ein Hotel eingecheckt. Vor dem abendlichen Termin war noch ein Spaziergang am Programm. Diese Pizzeria lag am Weg. Nicht viele Gäste im Lokal, umsomehr war der Kellner sehr bemüht. Der Insalata Gamberetti war keine Augenweide aber gut im Geschmack. Die Pizza Roma war Ok. Alles in allem eine solide Pizzeria mit einer üppigen Speisekarte.

I was disappointed because only half of the amount was in comparison to otherwise in the container and it was too salty.

Great food, fast delivery. I will order again!
