Had a great eve with my mates. The kitchen rockes and the wines are amazing. Try the irsai oliver. It will blow your mind even for me as an austrian wine lover. We had such an amazing evening and you should not miss it View all feedback.
What Myrtie Weimann doesn't like about Pilwax Urban Bistro:
It is quite peculiar because the restaurant is also a bar for beer, but the experience is worthwhile. It's not in the center, although it's very close crossing the channel. the room is small and uncomfortable, with three or four tables and a bar. the food they serve is very powerful Hungarian type. We dine a gulash with gnochis and a fantastic pork rib, and with generous rations, at a very correct price. An important... View all feedback.
The best Ceasar Salad of Vienna! For my business lunch I'm always at Pilwax. The Ceasar Salad, chicken or shrimps are the best and become a regular to me. Can't get enough of it. But this Hungarian kitchen restaurant, the sfeer of 80s and 90s music brings a relaxing atmosphere if you need a break of the day. It doesn't matter you want to have a lunch or dinner, the service is as always good!
We had a nice dinner with wine. Hamburger was good and Wiener snitchel also. Service was good and the best part of the restaurant was the atmosphere. I liked the restaurant a lot. It was a good choise after a long day.
I find the name bistro is not fair to the local - I would call it restaurant. the ambiente is harmonious and cozy, we felt right now. some tables are higher than others, there are very comfortable bar stools. the toilets are very clean. in the summer you can also sit outside. The card is not overloaded, but offers enough choice - the wine card is amazingly extensive (also Hungarian wines of different price categories,) both feed and drink are cheap (especially longdrinks, e.g. gin tonic by 4.50€).We had as an appetizer the tapas plate with paprikawurst, Hungarian salami, brie, bre, as a main dish there was the Hungarian cork goulash, well poked and not boiled - just as it should be. also the fish soup (a very large portion with plenty of inlay from the carp.) to last the cheesecake on sky. this was also very successful - instead of serving tops from the dose as decoration, I would rather leave it completely. In addition we got a Hungarian dessert donated - fried germteig in a very sweet Bourbon vanilla sauce (may be too sweet for some, it was perfect for me).The whole menu includes 2 1/8 wein and 2 beers for approx. 50€, so I find the two €€ not quite justified, but would rather be awarded a €.As a whole great price-performance ratio and we will not only come to eat, but also to a glass wein or a longdrink like to come back.
Price-Performance top. recommended: avocado salat, Chees-Burger and cheesecake as well as nutella mohr. service is attentive but not intrusive. we'll be back in any case!
Super cozy, delicious and charming local. whether you want to eat or just chill. also very cheap menu :)))!easy top!!
