Orders for beverages were quickly placed and arrived in time. Orders for food then took quite a lot of time and the dishes arrive, took 45 minutes for soups and then another 25 minutes for the main dishes. The food was, according to my guests, medium for the paprika chicken in order for the polnta, quite good for the eggplant parmigianata. The Schremser beer was excellent. Get the waiter to produce the bill took another 35 minutes. Prices a little steep and unacceptable service.

We booked in advance. Locals eat there - what better recommendation! A small cozy restaurant with an interesting menu. The food was great and beautifully presented. The waiter was pleased to translate/explain the items in the menu. The wine is a little expensive, but very good (typically 30 euros per bottle), although you can buy the house wine through the glass for less (south not through the bottle). We really enjoyed the ambience and a great meal. We'd eat there again! A fine culinary experience, costs about 120 euros for two (including a 30 euros bottle of wine).
After I was denied at Shopik and because I had not reserved wages, I tried to swallow the market. So glad I did it! They were full for the night, but let me eat at the bar, as I was alone on the way. The server helped me with food recommendations and when they were out of the beer I had asked, she recommended another. I finished what was essentially a chic steak salad with mushrooms and an amazing sauce. Her dessert with the broken spice cake was also spectacular. Overall, this was the best meal and the best culinary experience I had in an otherwise disappointing Viennese restaurant scene. Nice, small key staff and restaurant. Very recommended!
Marktlücke is a rather small restaurant and therefore I recommend to make an reservation. The dishes I had the liver and my friend the burger) tasted both very good. There are lot of fish dishes on the menu and I saw on another table the mussels and they also looked very good. The service was okay, in the beginning very fast, but in the end we had to wait rather long so we could pay. The prices are not really cheap, but the food quality was very good.
