From outside it looked very basic. Inside is lovely. Very vintage looking with lots of chandeliers and marble. We had a small suite on 10th floor. Very clean and spacious. No plug outlet for my hair styler near the bathroom vanity area. Pillows were not comfortable. But the bed itself was very comfortable, the room was clean and quite spacious. We had a nice view as well. Lots of toiletries and amenities kit if you forgot anything. Best of all was the service and friendliness of every employee we encountered! Just excellent staff. Cafe food was good. Walkable location for visiting old town. Very much enjoyed my stay. Didn't have time to visit the spa and sauna but they are available. I recommend their afternoon tea service. Tasty and fun.

However I have a feeling the hotel is aimed at the elite and it's members rather than your regular tourist. The room is clean, with TV, air con, desk, telephone, kettle, fridge, slippers and dressing gown. The bathroom is disappointing. The hotel class you would expect a little better but it's dated. The shower while hot is old and really needs refreshing. You are given one bottle of water for sharing. My main criticism comes from the service and price. Yes I do believe for the your average tourist some drinks are well over priced but oddly not all. The food is over priced. I found the bar service to be slow and difficult even to get a bill. Location is great and plenty of options for bolt, taxi, subway or walking. I'm not sure I would stay again having seen Vienna more hotels are even better located at the same price point and probably have a decent bathroom. That said we did enjoy some aspects.
