This hotel is one we have visited repeatedly over the past 5 or 6 years. A great place to stay, with excellent staff. It is a 5 minute walk from the U1, meaning you are linked straight to the city centre in a heartbeat. Couldn't praise the staff highly enough-and couldn't recommend a better place to stay! What User doesn't like about Hotel Prinz Eugen:
The arrival of Vienna Airport is 10pm, and the hotel is 11pm. When check-in, the staff will be closed once, and the narrow room is closed, and the staff will be closed, and there is a refrigerator in the cold, and there is nothing to do in the evening, and the staff will ask you to check-in, and you can also drink food and drink. Then there was no food shop around, and it was answered by a single word. The North Ingy... View all feedback.
Impressive entrance, but that's it. Stale bread with breakfast and fresh juice... Beds as hard as they come, males extremely loud when you try to sleep, pillow had spots on them, clumpy and unpleasant. Room was ok, went to the balcony that was rustic, did not feel safe. Tired furniture, dirty walls, tired painting, chipped and holes in the wall.... see photos. No lunch or dinner.
A traditional hotel, conveniently located on foot from Belvedere Train Station and Castle. The reception was helpful and welcoming and the hotel itself was clean. However, the decor was old-fashioned with fake flowers that had seen better days and it was sadly lacking in modern requirements. Our rooms were sufficient and beds comfortable, but the bathroom side was very high, which would have been a problem for an older person. There was nothing in the mini bar/cooler just a 4 Euro bottle of water on the dressing table. The basic TV was old and the picture was grainy. The bar area was missing ambience and I had the worst gin and tonic I had ever served in a tiny round glass. There was ice cream, but no lemon and no small snacks to accompany the drink. Breakfast was reasonable with the usual choice of a boiled and continental farewell, but the toaster was hopeless, the age taken to scatter everything! It is a great shame, as with a great overhaul this could be a great traditional hotel and for this reason I gave it only 3 stars.
Very good and affordable hotel. Breakfast is good and there is lot to choose from. Would definetly stay again! Staff is very kind and you can storage your luggage there before you are leaving back to the airport.
What make this hotel great is central station. central station is directly across the street from the property which makes accessible to get to the airport or taking the train to another city. as for sightseeing, the streetcar line runs on the adjacent street and there beautiful gardens and palaces that are short walk away. the property is very old but i'm ok with that. i'm very nostalgic
