The Gragger Cie is an aromatic Viennese wood stove Bakery. The array of breads made it difficult to choose. We ended up with breadsticks, wheat and poppy seed rolls. After a trip to Naschmarkt for fresh fruit, cheese, meat, and olives...we were ready for an evening picnic at Schloss Schonbrunn. We soon realized that we should have purchased more as the breadsticks were devoured long before dinner!! Delicious breads, reasonably priced. I wish we had a bakery like Gragger Cie in Topeka, Kansas!!

Everything looked appetizing, but what they call a croissant shouldn't be called that — it was an underbaked, sweet, soft pastry that had little in common with a real croissant. Inside, it was uncomfortably hot due to the working oven, and there was no restroom (not even a place to wash your hands). The bar stools looked uncomfortable. There are two small tables outside. Perhaps the bread here is good for takeaway, but I didn’t buy any, so I can't judge. The staff is quite friendly.
