We were in Vienna visit... read more My wife and I visited Grace back in June but felt we really must write a review on this fantastic restaurant now I have signed up to TA. We were in Vienna visiting friends who were busy one evening and recommended Grace to us, we are so glad that they did.We had the tasting menu and were treated to an incredible array of gorgeous foods, with the chef making even simple base ingredients such as carrots into high class fine dining. All the dishes were beautifully cooked and presented and the ingredients used were of the highest quality – the strawberries we had as part of one of the desserts were the best either of us had ever tasted. To accompany the food was a flight of wines that were very well chosen and paired beautifully with the dishes.The service we received at Grace was excellent, the lady that primarily looked after us was absolutely charming and everyone that served us was knowledgeable and helpful without ever being pushy, the perfect balance. The evening we visited was a lovely summer evening and so we were lucky enough to be able to dine in their gorgeous garden. This really is a beautiful setting to enjoy any meal but when the food, wine and service is this great it truly is wonderful dining experience.

He is scottish, she is austrian.... read more The ex sous chef of Austria´s best restaurant, Steirereck, and his wife opened a new restaurant last year and called it Grace. He is scottish, she is austrian. She is resposible for the service.The food is fantastic and the prices are good too, you get a 4 course meal for around 49Euros, 6 courses for 68 or 8 courses for 86, which is was below what you would pay at Steirereck! And it almost the same quality!
