Lovely small es... read more I was recommended this Cookoo restaurant by a friend who saw on FB that we were in Vienna. We tracked it down and were so delighted we had done. Lovely small establishment off one of the main drags near the historic centre of the city so very convenient. Unfortunately they had sold out of the signature tafelspitz so we had some excellent filetspitzen instead. The asparagus soup to start with was sublime. And of course the apple strudel was more than fine. With drinks the bill for four came to 145 euro and there was liquors on the house.

We lo... read more We made a dinner reservation there because we liked the appearance from the street. As visitors from the USA, we wanted somewhere with an "Austrian" vibe. We loved it. Great service. Great food. Charming ambiance. Easy recommendation.
