Very nice service with the staff able to speak enough English to help with ordering. The food did take some time to prepare, though considering we were a group of around 13 people, they managed to serve around the same time and the food was still warm. The food itself wasn't anything crazy, I'm not sure I'd come back but this may just be what I ordered (Schnitzel). The restaurant was a little compact, but the tables were easily moved to accommodate a large group of people. In my opinion, the prices were a little high for the quality of food. We ordered 4 drinks and waited over 15 minutes without any update. When we politely asked a staff member about it, he was kind and said it would take a little longer. But then the older waiter who serves outside rudely told us, “If you're in a hurry, go to McDonald's!” Absolutely unacceptable behavior. There's no excuse for that kind of attitude—completely ruined the experience. Not coming back. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: €10–20
Since this is in such a touristy area, I thought it would be mediocre and touristy. Thankfully, it was neither! We noted most people around us speaking German, not English. (I should note that they could easily be tourists from other German speaking areas. But I will never know for sure! The service was a bit slow, only because they spread their waiters thin here. Ours was running around and being as efficient as possible. It seemed like the manager here was pushing them pretty hard, perhaps too much, but I don 't have the full context. My husband liked his chicken sandwich and fries the side of fries was hilariously unnecessary since he didn 't realize that the sandwich already came with them. I liked my panini (OK...panino but I don 't want to be that person . Was it a bit burnt? Yes...but it was still tasty. The bathrooms are downstairs, which is so common in older buildings like this one. You might be amused by the posters for live music one contained a traditionally attired man in a variety of cheesy poses. It was worth the trek downstairs ;
Good food. Quick easy service. Open late. Like a Viennese version of Denny's. I got seated quickly and host and server was nice, friendly and spoke English.
