There are tons of coffee specialties. The atmosphere is delightful and the service is nice. Make sure you check out opening times as they tend to be closed on Sundays during the summer time. Nostalgic atmosphere was kept. We have ordered coffee and sweets. Their strudel was the best I have ever tasted. Though restaurant is located on a central place, prices were very reasonable. They did not bring... read more Cafe Sperl could start by replacing the staff. They only asked to see out vaccination certificates after 30 minites of staying at the table. They did not bring us menus. We got them ourselves. After 30 minutes of waiting, the waitress that kept avoiding us, asked her colleague to specifically come to our table, eventhough until then she served all the tables close and near to ours and clients that entered the cafe after us, already had food on their tables when our order wasn't even taken by that moment. Also poor bathroom cleaning. The cafe looks amazing when you enter, the style is authentic and preserved, maybe a little too well, though. Marble tables were really dirty, the pores of the unpolished marble are filled with dirt. Also the seating sofas need cleaning. They are overused and colors have faded under the dirt. I do not recommend it if you are a tourist, even if the room is a delight to look at and admire. The dirt will diminish your enchantment and the staff will make sure you do not come back.
