Went in to escape the chill while at Christmas market. Lovely place and very attentive staff even though it was really busy. Felt like the oasis of a ski lodge after a day outside.
Went here with friends from abroad after the Christmas market. The manager at the entrance was very rude. We ignored as often this is normal in old Viennese restaurants. The waiter was even more arrogant. We were 4 persons and ordered food. 2 didn't wanna...take a drink initially. But a soup. To our big surprise he said that they have to drink something with their food. We asked why ? He said otherwise they don't make enough money !!!! What nonsense! We got up and left. All stay away from this joint. Extremely rude and arrogant staff. Dont care about the guests. Just want to make money. Total no go!
