The restaurant has a simple atmosphere but is very welcoming. They only accept cash. The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. It's worth noting that the restaurant was recently sold and will soon operate under a new name. The owner was present and very friendly, indicating a strong focus on customer service. What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Shori Sushi:
I took my partner to this restaurant for a Valentine's Day dinner, and unfortunately, it was a chilly night outside (around 20 degrees), and the inside was nearly just as cold. Every guest was bundled up in their coats, and some even had hats and gloves on. When I inquired with our waiter about the temperature, he mentioned they were experiencing heating issues. While that may have been the case, it would have been n... View all feedback.
I really like this place. Its become a routine place for us. The sushi is fresh, the staff is friendly and there is never a wait. Highly recommend if you want a quiet night and good food.
The food was fantastic. We tried different appetizers, rolls and salads. The beef tataki salad was phenomenal. Highly recommend trying it out.
Great selection, service and presentation. They did a nice job of bringing out food timely and were terrific at maintaining the table.
Storefront restaurant. Very basic from an atmosphere perspective. They do have a full bar. The food was great, the staff attentive and friendly. OF note the restaurant was recently sold and will be under a new name soon. The owner was present and very friendly. Customer service appears to be a focus.
Actually made reservarion with and visited i Thai, but the reservation came through mentioning Shori Sushi. Restaraunts are very near each other, so am assuming they are related. Food was very good at i Thai and portion sizes were large. There were 3 in the party and we could have shared two entrees. This restaurant appears to be primarily a lunch spot, as there were just two tables occupied during dinner and other business was take out. Service was attentive, so no complaints there. However, one person in our party received their soup and entree order before the other two had their soup. Soup and entrees were delivered just a minute or so apart. So some quick training of the kitchen and waitstaff could easily fix this need to understand the differring requirements of take out and eat in customers. So, atmosphere and service are nothing to write home about, but the quality and quantity of food easily make up for shortcomings in these areas. Would definitely visit again, and would recommend to others.
