Jingo Cajun Eatery - Vidor

Heard all the buzz about this new cajun restaurant on a recent trip to Beaumont, so decided to check it out. It surely blew away my expectations! The succulent shrimp, spicy snow crab legs, delicious po boys and a neighborhood joint ambiance everything was top notch! If you happen to live near the area, are visiting, or just driving through, Jingo is worth the visit! And if you like a little heat, don't be shy to ask for spicy.

I enjoyed the fish and shrimp combo, although I do not recommend getting the Mac and Cheese. Fries are great but the onion rings are not. I will try to shrimp poboy next! Overall I prefer the place over Bayou Cafe

I stopped here on my drive from Houston to Baton Rouge, my first time here. Chase was awesome and friendly, remembered my name when she brought my food, which was super quick by the way! Had the two piece fish, it was well-seasoned and super hot and fresh, the Jingo?s sauce (like a seasoned tartar sauce) was great but the flavor of the red beans and rice was AMAZING! I inhaled it and now sitting here thinking about getting another bowl to take home.. try this place and enjoy the hospitality- and the beans!

Wow! What a surprise this restaurant was! We had never ate there before and we were glad we stopped in. We ordered gumbo, pork eggrolls, fried mushrooms. (What a combination, right? It did not disappoint. Very good food!

Had the shrimp n crabs yesterday and they was delicious! No one in there but us. The lady at counter super sweet and very helpful. Hubby got the shrimp and said they was the best he's ever had out! We would return and recommend
