The New Orleans seafood was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the manager was very pleasant too.
Additionally, some of the water cups were cracked, and one leaked throughout our meal. The mozzarella sticks were decent, though. The women's restroom situation was quite awkward as the stalls were positioned in a way that allowed for visibility of people washing their hands from two different stalls, making me feel uncomfortably observed. The floors were also quite sticky. Overall, this place created an unwelcoming atmosphere, and I would not consider returning.
Food was sub standard. I sat at the bar, I was the only one at the bar, bartender was miserable. All around bad service from this person. The salad bar was good but very messy. I ordered the meatball hoagie, not well prepared. The overall feeling of the restaurant was dirty and disheveled. The bartender never once wiped down the bar. It was very dirty.
Has no baked potatoes at 6pm dinner hour. Managers response ... we must have sold a lot. I ask why not go to the local grocery and by $10 worth of bakers to hold them until the truck comes tomorrow... oh we are not allowed to make any purchases... really???? . So exactly what does the manager manage? Finished my drink and ate across the street.... if you can 't trust the manager to buy a sack of potatoes, why would you trust em to manage your business.... negative stars, wont be back.
We then ordered a rosé sangria and Bloody Marys. There was a long wait for our drinks, and when they finally arrived, they were disappointing. The rosé sangria tasted more like chardonnay with a splash of strawberry, rather than the flavorful drink we expected. The Bloody Marys were essentially just spicy tomato juice, without any alcohol. When it came time to order our food, we found that many items were unavailable. The steak that arrived was overcooked and looked unappetizing. I ordered a second drink, which took over 30 minutes to arrive in a mostly empty restaurant. By the time it finally came, we had already finished our meals. When it was time to pay, the server brought the card reader to our table and hovered over us while we signed and tipped, which felt very awkward. Our waitress came across as rude and condescending, treating us as if we were a nuisance despite our efforts to remain polite. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
