What User doesn't like about Gold Bowl:
Most of the food is decent, some of it however is rather lacking in flavor. The main culprit here is the fried rice. The meats you get in it have flavor but the rest of the rice is pretty plain. It's still worth getting IMO if you favor duck or soy sauce. The reason for the 3 stars though is the fact that we have been there twice now and both times was a ridiculous wait outside in the cold. The food was exceptional and the service was great, I recommend going there if you are something delicious the food is definitely worth waiting. It's pretty close to my house so I can easily access Chinese food if I want.
The food was hot, fresh, and quickly prepared during lunch time. It's awesomeness that they still carry economical pricing-$5 dollar boxes and $6.95 lunches! The food has a different Asian American flavor but it's still very delightful in taste! The 5 dollar Mandarin Chicken Box is enough for 2 people to share! I will definitely return again!
The food is delicious and served hot with generous portions. There can be a slight wait at times, so it's best to order ahead. The only thing that could use some improvement is the flavor of the fried rice.
The food is ok. The young men (children working) very poor customer service skills.
The little sweet-and-sour chicken is delicious. The portions are large, the food is tasty, and the service is consistently quick. I suggest ordering ahead, as the line can get very long.
