Yesterday, on the way from guimaraes to chaves we decided to stop in vidago for lunch. after reviewing tripadvisor we found this amazing place. Interestingly, our premier minister also chose this very small restaurant: probably with this same app. I have strengthened the positive assessments so far and added that this is a place to come back. the cozido à portuguesa is one of the recommended. the quality relation/price is really difficult to beat.

This is a family-run restaurant, where João is the face of his parents' cuisine. It is a perfect spot if you're looking for a cozy restaurant with typical Portuguese food. You can order tapas or go with more traditional food. Make a reservation in advance...in order to have food outside. If cannot miss it if you're staying at the Vidago Palace Hotel.
