Nick's Special Pizzeria serves some of the best food around. Their pepperoni calzone is out of this world—absolutely delicious! The Italian grinder is perfection as well. Be sure to save room for the cannoli; they're a must-try. Make sure to arrive hungry so you can fully enjoy all the incredible dishes they offer. Plus, the customer service is fantastic! What User doesn't like about Nick's Pizza:
Good bread, pastrami and Mac and cheese. The lasagna was just the worst thing I ever had. It came with almost no sauce at all, was extremely dry and 95% ricotta cheese that almost tastes... expired. In addition, the noodles were very chewing and gummy, and the sauce tasted like ketchup with 3x the amount of sugar. Pizza here excellent. Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. Quick, helpful, and friendly service. This place has a good feel to it.
SERIOUSLY THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN! I’ve been to a Nicks before but this pizza was by far the best I have ordered from one of their establishments! 100% everyone to order!
Great atmosphere and we just ordered to go. Woman working was gracious and kind and the food was great.
We love Nick's Pizza in Spring Valley Lake! our favorite is eggplant parmesan, and the pizzas pretty awesome too.
I like the food but the environment is a bit outdated. They could use an update for sure. I feel like it hasn't changed in 20 years. But since the atmosphere is so bland, I feel like the prices are high. I wouldn't mind paying that price if it was a nicer night out. It just kind of feels like a regular cafeteria with bright lights and uncomfortable seats. The staff is great though. We've always been treated nicely and my wife loves the salad options. Overall its good but I'm picky when it comes to atmosphere.
