When we went inside to see a menu, we were told the restaurant is open every morning for a breakfast buffet and some evenings for dinner. We went for the breakfast buffet next morning and were delighted with the choices of many, many dishes. Our waiter was very focused on making sure we had everything we wanted. The coffee is a bit on the weak side, however the cream with cinnamon made up for the lack of real coffee. The food was very good - traditional Mexican breakfast buffet along with plenty of fresh fruit and many desserts. The setting is just so beautiful with an indoor courtyard complete with a fountain in the middle. There are also tables inside, if the courtyard is too cold. This more of an "Evento" place (rent it for parties) than a traditional restaurant. Go for breakfast at least once - you will be happy you ate there.
We had visited the restaurant on the afternoon for a cool drink and asked what the availability of dressed on the menu, I wanted mocajete and my wife wanted to fish en papillote both were said to be available. we said we would return to dinner. when we came back at 19 o'clock we were the only guests in the restaurant first warning signs. my mocajete came in the traditional hot lava bowl, but lacked the promised broth, nopal cactus and frijoles. the kitchen substituted guacamole for nopal cactus, without asking me whether this was acceptable. the resulting dish was dry and hard, as it was cooked in the hot plate without broth. the fish of my wife was better, but had not noticed any of the spinat in the description on the menu. if the assessment reflects my court, it would be poor, but I am generous and give a cut, as the fish of my wife was in order and the hire is beautiful.

We had visited the restaurant in the afternoon for a cool drink, and enquired as to the availability of dishes on the menu, I wanted molcajete and my wife wanted fish en papillote - both were said to be available that evening. We said we would return for dinner. When we returned at 7 pm we were the only guests in the restaurant - first warning sign. My molcajete came in the traditional hot lava bowl but lacked the promised broth, nopal cactus and frijoles....the kitchen substituted guacamole for nopal cactus without asking me if this was acceptable. The resulting dish was dry and tough, as it continued to cook in the hot dish with no broth. My wife's fish was better, but had none of the spinach noted in the description on the menu. If the rating reflected my dish it would be "poor" but I am being generous and giving an "average" as my wife's fish was okay and the setting is lovely.
