Back 1977 I helped to open this special LJS and was one of the first employees. I've been gone and returned for many years to visit family. The interior of the restaurant has changed a lot by being behind the scenes in a closed kitchen and there are more seats than in the original layout. We cook in front of the restaurant's customers. What User doesn't like about Long John Silver's:
Went at lunch to Portland TX KFC/Long John Silvers. Ordered almost $40 worth of food. Went to pay with $100 and was rudely told they didn't have change. The place was packed. I seriously doubt that they would not have change. View all feedback.
Drive thru was so beautiful, she let me know why I wanted to wait a few minutes, the fish was freshly cooked. Food was delicious food: 5/5
Always eat love at LJS! Older branch, but I don't mind. Popcorn shrimps? Food: 4/5

Times change, but LJS food is still delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. LJS would do well if she opened a few restaurants in Utah. It is difficult to find fried fish restaurants in this state. Apparently, the LJS in Victoria Tx is right to stay open for 45 years and count. Good work?
Please change your oil. I'm sure the food would be much better if fried with fresh oil.Food: 2/5
