Contribute FeedbackOverall, the reviews for the restaurant were mixed. Some customers found the food to be just okay, with complaints about slow service and cold dishes. However, others praised the friendly service, generous portions, and quality of the food. The menu was described as basic but satisfying, with options like Caesar salad and steak receiving positive feedback. The atmosphere was pleasant, with one review noting the ability to accommodate a hard of hearing family member. Online ordering was also mentioned as a positive experience. Despite some hiccups, many customers expressed a willingness to return to the restaurant for another meal.
So I brought my friend here for a birthday breakfast and we first noticed the musty smell. We were seated and given time to decided what we wanted, we did not get our waters only juices and the coffee for my friend. The food was nasty not much for breakfast options either. The waitress was not friendly and came off as being inconvenienced for needing to serve our table. While paying at the front because we were not offered the machine at the table but the other table was three staff including our server were gossiping about possible another staff, instead of having conversation like "how was everything" " what plans do you have for the rest of the day" my friend and I got to listen to these staff talk about how lazy this other person is. Needless to say as convenient as this location is I won't come back. I didn't even eat all my food it was pretty much a full order that was taken away.
Had a bit of a craving for a burger and fries so stopped in here while out for my walk. To summarize...everything was ok. Just ok.Fries were hot, 'traditional' burger was warm, the bun showed signs of being on the grill but it wasn't warm. Extra $1.49 for cheese. Extra $1.49 for a side of gelatinous goo which they called 'gravy'. Cole slaw looked good and was crunchy but didn't have much taste. The service, however, was very good.I won't be in a big rush to go back. I can get a Teen Burger and fries at A & W for half the price and it's twice as good.
Four adults and three children went for dinner on a Friday evening. After ordering dinner at about 6:20 and being assured that the wait was due to the "big party (they got their food at 6:30) I as asked to speak to the manager at about 7 pm. She told me that normally wait time on Fridays was 30-45 minutes. I was surprised that the wait staff had not mentioned this. We had only received assurances that it "was coming". For a family restaurant, they are clueless about how to deal with children. We finally got our food about 7:10 (had been there since 6) and had to chase down the manager to get someone to take the dessert order. To their credit they did reduce the bill, but I considered this an epic fail. The manager was stuck in the kitchen when she should have been out dealing with the clients, because the wait staff was clearly untrained to do so.
We were here with our family and though it used to be where we went to regularly it isn't anymore. The service was very slow, over an hour to receive our food (and it wasn't that busy), which had obviously been left on the warmers for way too long. 4 of the 5 dinners were dried out and tough or the sauce had separated from sitting too long. There were only 5 of us and yet our order kept being delayed with no explanation. People who came in after us were seated, served and left before we were served. The waitress was very nice and kept apologizing for the delay, but you can only hear that so many times before wondering what the heck is going on.We will not be returning, suggest you don't either.
The burger was okay but the chips were cold and old. The waitress did, however, replace the chips with hot ones. The service was quite slow considering the place was half empty. All in all, just okay.
