I've only ever been here for breakfast and always go back for the Turkey Benny. It's real shredded turkey, roasted on the premises so it’s a nice change from processed meats! Last time we ordered they were a little light on the amount of turkey so I’ll be keeping my eye on them. View all feedback.
What Fidel Labadie doesn't like about Rosie's Diner:
My one piece of halibut was probably the best I've ever had. A perfect light crust, dense fresh meat that separated perfectly. And...a whole bottle of tartar sauce - not those lousy little flutes! Rosie's would have scored a 'Good' but what's with the itty bitty bowl of coleslaw which was very tasty? Would have loved a proper scoop. Fries were the cribbly end pieces. One kid had a hearty and solid full farmer's break... View all feedback.
Rosie's advertised for a new chef and the person they hired is very good. Have eater there twice recently and everything was very good. A great diner, very nostalgic to be in (oh, the good old days!), and very excellent prices. They seem very crowded...More
I have been here three times. The first, about two years ago was good. The second time was terrible. Thought id give them another chance today for breakfast, and with no exaggeration I can say it is the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. I had a smoked salmon and avo benny ($13) with a very stale english muffin that took about nine or ten passes with a steak knife to get through. The eggs are not poached in water and must be microwaved in a mould of some type. The hollandaise is from a packet and had absolutely zero flavor. There was less than an eighth of an avocado on it. All i can say for the salmon is it was pink. It didnt taste like salmon and had the uniform texture of a piece of processed cheese. The hashbrowns were plain boiled potato chunks. If I could rate it less than one star I would. The staff are friendly but their food is unforgivable.
Rosies was great. We stopped in for dinner the first day of our vacation. The service was great and the food was good. The decoration has changed since last time I was there. It's interesting but still a great little spot. My wife had the cod and chips. She said it was the best fish she has every had. Ever!. I had a sandwich and it was kinda meh. Nothing special. I would return and probly order something else. But prices were great food was hot and service was good.
This was our first visit to Rosie'sOur server was super friendly and personable.Chocolate shake was good but not over the top.Chicken melt was amazing!!Served on focaccia bread and cooked just right.Hand cut fries made everything taste better. It was so nice to find a restaurant that makes fries and doesn't just defrost them.Halibut fish and chips, also greatWe will certainly head back again.
A short drive along Dallas road from the downtown area, we were in the mood for home cooking at a reasonable price and this fit the bill. We had liver and onions/ fish and chips and both were nicely presented and we ate up and were satisfied.
