This restaurant is very small but worth the wait. We waited outside for about 45-60 minutes and we were glad we did. The staff were very personable and the food was delicious. I eat sushi quite often in excellent sushi restaurants in the US and Nubo was very good and had some creative food on the menu as well. View all feedback.

I've been applying for a group and we were all a little disappointed with what we have. the prices are a bit steep, but we wanted to try something new. the aged ashi tofu was oily and a bit soggy, although the order did not last very long to arrive. the Yam-Tempura roll was pretty good, but I found it more fat than most places. gurke and avocado maki were good, but not excellent. the tear was very thin on them and th... The attentive staff at this restaurant were fantastic! However, compared to other Japanese restaurants on the island, the experience was lacking. The drinks were average and nothing stood out. While the wild salmon roll was appealing, the overall menu was overpriced for the quality of the food.
Passing by. Have eaten many kinds of sushi. For the price this place was good. One thing I noticed is they use a decent quantity of fish where other places use cheap imitation crab meat instead of the better-quality fish. Overall was satisfied with the foodand service. Even tried the cowboy roll which was enjoyable.
This place is SOOOO good! We tried lots of tapa style rolls, sashimi, and other dishes and they were all so delicious. The price is more than reasonable for downtown Victoria as well. We'll definitely go back when we go back to Victoria!

We had a fantastic meal and would highly recommend this restaurant. The Aburi tapas were beautifully presented and delicious, and we also enjoyed the karage. The cowboy and lucky strike rolls were ordered and we were delighted by their flavors. The cowboy roll was seared table side, which was a nice touch. The service was great and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.
