This is a great little sushi place. We go here about once a month. They are good with kids and will adjust things if you ask. My son wanted the caterpillar roll without the eel. No problem, what would you like to substitute. We've tried just about every type of sushi on the menu. The fish is always fresh and the service is efficient and polite. Not an overly fancy restaurant, but we go there for the food.

We decided to give Bon Sushi another try tonight. This was after watching one of the cooks blow his nose and promptly start handling food during our last visit. This time we had the worst, rudest service ever. Server brought drinks including nice big chipped glass, followed by soy dishes covered in black sludge, at which the server giggled. We got our rolls which took at least half an hour and never saw her again. Had to flag someone down to ask for our bill and unluckily picked the worst server I've ever come across. She literally grunted twenty minutes later when she finally brought our bill. Lucky for us she was on the till when we paid...no I did not tip, this is a first for me and I don't feel bad about it. I'll go back to Yoshi or Shiki any day - better food, better prices and better service, worth the extra drive.

I always luv the sushi here. My favourite is the hot night roll. Their tea is very interesting too. A blend of brown rice and green tea. Very yummy!!

My husband, Son and 3 grandchildren went to the West Saanich branch of Bon Sushi and although the food was FANTASTIC, the waitress was absolutely terrible. Her service was really bad and when we called out to her several times, she kept saying just a minute, and instead went outside to chat with her friend - we could see her through the glass door. We finally got fed up and went to pay at the cashier. Our invoice number was 106142 (B7) and we checked out at 18.57pm. We were seated closest to the door (Table for 6), and this waitress should really be fired!!
