What User likes about JF&C:
Our family went there after a movie around the corner, on recommendations we received. It did not disappoint. Quality was better than back at our usual haunts in Adelaide. The butterfish was obviously fresh not frozen, fresh oil, and generous serves - we took leftovers away and there was more than enough for snacking the next day. We will gladly come back. What User doesn't like about JF&C:
Good food, good quality, well cooked....but....guys, could do with more generous chip portions please. I don't mind paying for quality, but there is a minimum to minimum chips! (We ordered a medium chips and there were hardly any...) See you on the next trip. View all feedback.

The website and outside the store says opening times, but until we live on the closed side. that's disappointing! they pass it or this hungry will give it 0 stars.

Fantastic fish and chips. grillbarramund cooked to perfection and chips had wonderful taste. no additional cost for grilled was a great sound. eat them in available. loved the traditional white paper packaging. this place knows his things!

Fast lunch. fish and chips: well boiled with big teig. friendly staff and well appreciated. beautiful place to sit and eat.

I ordered barramundi and chips. The chips lacked seasoning, and the batter on the barramundi was overly dark and not crispy. Additionally, everything was extremely greasy. Even worse, the oil had a strange flavor that resembled other foods I did not order. I am not a fan of lamb, and the oil made the barramundi taste like a lamb gyro. This was a unique and unpleasant experience for me, and I was unable to finish my meal.

If you are in Victor and plan on have the obligatory fish and chip dinner then look no further than JF+C. Brilliant food, huge portions and speedy service! You can't ask for anymore. It will be busy at peak times, but that is when you...know it is GOOD!
