I give one star for the service since they inquired about mask-wearing, but the dining experience is absolutely exceptional. It's pricey, but definitely worth it.

The flat head is from argentineana, which is not related to the flat head family. do not expect it to taste something like our great fish tasting. it wasn't good.

The dining experience was very average for $24; the mushroom and beef carving was small—more suitable for a child. At the Red Lion Hotel, the same portion would only cost $5. Additionally, the fish was so poorly prepared that my father-in-law, who usually loves shrimp, couldn’t even eat it. For $29, that was disappointing. Now I understand why our only option in Goolwa was to go to Victor Harbor, as all the other pubs were fully booked. I had my daughter's birthday party there a few years ago, and the food was fantastic, but unfortunately, it seems to have declined since then. I even spoke to someone in the parking lot who mentioned that he had a bad meal there just a month ago.

Once we finally received service, we ordered a bottle of wine and our meals. Unfortunately, the food was just average, akin to basic hotel dining, and the service left much to be desired. When it came time to settle the bill, I had to point out a few discrepancies, but I overlooked an extra $4 charge for my wife's salmon, which was above the posted price. All in all, it was a fairly average experience, although I must say the staff were friendly and accommodating once we were attended to.

We were in the resort and booked for Tuesday night. Surprisingly, it was a two for one night, not a wonder that the place was booked. we sat and gave water, menu and wine list. then we waited for half an hour before my wife stood up and drew a waitress for the service. in this time I noticed that a fly was squeezed on the window next to me, which kept my attention on.
