We have visited this restaurant several times over the years on our trips to Vichy and it is constantly of a very high standard and a very good alternative to the more traditional French cuisine. Being vegetarian the host offered to prepare a mezze of all the vegetarian delicacies on the menu and he lived up to his promise. The array of aubergine dips, hummus, cream cheese, tabouleh, falafel, cheese savouries, spinach parcels, breads, salads, vine leaves and spiced potatoes were mouth-watering. The restaurant is cosy, customer focused with very good portions at a great price and a lovely relaxed atmosphere, we would visit every time we are in Vichy.
Our experience of this restaurant was very mixed. We were the first people to arrive in the evening and were given a warm welcome by the manager. We ordered a selection of hot and cold mezze to start, followed by wraps for the teenagers and a chicken dish for the adults. The mezze was very good, but the main dish was a disappointment greasy potato and aubergine, and chicken pieces which did not seem freshly cooked. I think you would have a better experience if you stuck to the mezze. The desserts were presented to us to choose in large metal trays. Some were a little stale.
A beautiful place in lovely Vichy!nice atmosphere and very nice variety of meals!everything is great and of course we will visit it again in our next trip to Vichy!!
