Mondo Pizza Di Curcio Renato - VICENZA

Hmmm...feeling like pizza tonight? Should we try Mexico Ristorante....nah. How about Speedy Pizza...too far and not worth the walk. Pizzamania? It's good but farther. How about Mondo Pizza? YES! That's how my wife and I would sometimes discuss a plan for dinner when we are yearning for some good pizza. Mondo Pizza is our go-to neighborhood pizzeria...and lately we like ordering the Vesuvio pizza with tomato sauce, eggplants, garlic, salami, then topped with slices of parmesan cheese once the pizza is retrieved from the brick oven. Then we salivate all the way back to the apartment and can not wait to tear into the yummy pizza wedges of pure delight. The pizza is large that the crust has to be folded slightly to fit into the standard pizza box. We try to eat pizza with a fork and knife while in Italy...but public propriety goes out the window in the comforts of our own apartment as we dig into our pizza like proud Americans, folding the pizza wedge in half in one hand and savoring it bite by bite. Note that this pizzeria is only for takeout...they do deliveries as well.
