I was at the bistro a few days ago, thanks to the wonderful maria joanna was a truly unique experience to discover the local wines. Did you really come to the deputy if you didn't come from the strain? probably no. 10/10 personal, quality of food 10/10, local care for details. What arma zaa doesn't like about Il Ceppo Il Bistrot Del Bacala':
The place is nice and the service is great, but it is ridiculously expensive. We ordered a 20 euro plate of cheese and cold meats. It was incredibly poor: 3 small pieces of cheese, 3 pieces of prosciutto, 3 pieces of salami and 3 pieces of parma ham. We order two glasses of wine that were filled minimally. And in addition they charged us 5.60 euros for the service. View all feedback.
An absolute wonder of the goodness of gastronomy
Excellent selection of wines and cheeses and traditional dishes with attention to raw materials. wide choice of takeaway food.
Characteristic local in the center of vicenza, excellent quality, friendly staff, prepared and available, portions not abundant but in compensation the cellar is exceptional.
Delicious menu, great wine, beautiful location, very nice girls
This is the place to get the local specialty bigoli with duck ragù, although the other dishes were wonderful too. Large wine selection. Ask for inside and you get to dine in a brick vaulted medieval cellar, with a glass floor showing the remains of a Roman road and the foundations of a Roman house. We went twice.
