The place is very beautiful and well looked after. The food does not live up to expectations: a fillet placed in the middle of an empty plate with meat that was not at its best was tender. Oysters served on ice with a jar of liquid with raw onion !!!!, the chef says French style ... but I 'm Italian in Italy! which has spread and altered the taste of the oysters. But the serious thing is that I had clearly specified, when asked if I had any allergies or intolerances, that I hate onions, especially raw ones and I can 't stand their taste and smell.... the chef 's response to my observations on the matter did not have did nothing but make the situation worse. Friendly but unprepared staff... the cost of a Rum also appeared on the receipt which was not served to me because it was out of stock... when I pointed out the error at the checkout they asked me why I didn 't order another type which they have many good ones... unfortunately the answer in this case too I think was not the most appropriate... the onion oysters were rightly not taken into account. I stopped for a quick lunch, the idea was to eat a salad or a couple of cicchetti, the environment is elegant, the service is fast, accurate, a little too formal for a bistro... I ordered an avocado toast despite noting a slightly high price €10), normally throughout the world smoked salmon and obviously avocado are expected, I received a slice of toast, also small, with avocado and a sliced hard-boiled egg with a few salad leaves! €10 wasted... then we had the polenta with creamed cod, no big deal, I've had better things! Too much waiting after sitting down to have a simple breakfast. Staff passed by several times without interest in taking the order. Good, quality products with prices higher than all the other bars nearby which are partly justified by the quality of the products and the environment but not by the service.
