My girlfriend and I stayed 8/9 days in August. Clean hotel, in a quiet area 50 meters from the sea. It is the second year that I return to this property, located very close to the beach, just 1 minute, reachable on foot through a small road. Friendly and helpful staff. The owners meet every need, really appreciable. The clean, spacious rooms with a nice balcony. Very good dinner. See you soon!
We stayed in this property for ten wonderful days. Family character, located practically 3 minutes from the beach, (very beautiful and huge! It was an oasis of tranquility. Educated, unsympathetic, always with a smile, friendly and professional: they even remembered, after the first 2 days, breakfast preferences, drinks and habits, as well as to prevent requests. Leo and Francis, the two brothers at the head of the structure, are exquisite and helpful people. I'm a vegetarian and Leo who takes care of the kitchen, so that I could enjoy tasty dishes and prepared with passion. Francesco who takes care of everything else regarding the structure, is an accommodating, friendly and trying to meet all the needs of his tenants, with the utmost celerity,availability and professionalism. Lovely, he also gave us a fun musical evening with karaoke, on August 15th! An experience to remake. What to say, we'll see you soon and thank you for pampering us! A great greeting, married Battle.
We came to Altomonte on the echo of the hotel restaurant Barbieri, where some friends had supper and stayed. Perhaps the expectation was pumped out by the opinions of others, but I was not hit more than so. The course of the appetizers happened with good rhythm, the dishes at zero km were cooked with expertise, but everywhere abounded the oil, good but too. Excellent mushroom cutters too, however, with abundant oil. Sweets in Calabria are scarce. In fact tiramisù pannacotta and cream caramel are not quite traditional. The hotel has clean and neat rooms, which affect, structurally, in a tangible way of age. A renewal is highly desirable. The courtesy abounds in all the staff of the structure that ultimately makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast beyond the jams has very industrial flavors
I begin by saying that the managers are two humanly impeccable, helpful and sincerely empathic people. The structure, however, does not think it has any future, considered many defects, surrounded by the proximity to the train tracks passing, little, but pass, and for the rooms that are located on the affected side, is really annoying. The service, intended for the meal and for breakfast, would be to rethink from scratch. The quality, quantity, variety, just are not adequate. The room where we were, was not so bad, but definitely still needs a lot of work. Maybe the worst thing is hygiene. Hardly acceptable. The proximity to the large free beach of Bivona and the presence of enough free parking on the road (they also have their own paid) certainly constitute points in favor. However, we thank the humanly beautiful people who have welcomed us in this structure.
We spent a week here in July 2017. Beautiful hotel, beautiful beach The room was very clean, we have towels every day and our room was cleaned daily. Hospitality was perfect, friendly, helpful staff with top of the hotel manager.
