I arrived right before they filled up, every table was taken. I was disappointed with the vegetables, it was just mush to me. Potatoes were just steamed, no spices. My grilled Róbalo was delicious, but last time I had the restaurant removed the spine. So many little bones. Really great and CHEAP Portuguese food. We had the rissões and the pig (1/2 rofões) and beef. Simple, fresh, fantastic. The waitress advised us that 1/2 would be more than enough for 1 person. So we shared dishes. Had the white wine Adega Ponte de Lima. Really nice.
Off season and as we started to order more patrons came in. Owner was friendly and recommended some great dishes and wines.
One of my favorite restaurants in Viana!
