What mikewander doesn't like about Restaurante Típico Os 3 Potes:
Ten years ago I visited Viana with friends and family and we had a nice diner. Now it's the worst thing i ve ever visited. Food is terrible, no quality at all, microwave heated. Service is a nightmare. We even saw ten people sitting and giving up after talking to the owner (serving at the table). I do not recommend this restaurant under any circumstance. We had high expectations. The place is nice and cosy but this was a major disappointment: the service is terrible. There is one single person, who has no idea of how to treat clients...Takes long time , doesn’t apologize, arrogant.... the food is far from being great. The soup was basically hot water.:.no flavor; the octopus was to salty ; the salmon was overcooked on top of everything the prices are for a premium restaurant, way above the average for this region. Therefore there is a Huge mismatch between what you pay and what you get (specially if you compare to other restaurants) All in all, a big embarrassment for this region
I’m shocked at the poor reviews on here! We’ve just had the best meal of our holiday here, and one of the best I’ve ever had. We stumbled upon this cute rustic little place with nice owners weren't sure what to make of it. First time we’ve had fondue bourgignon but it was INSANELY good!! If you love meat this is definitely a great place to go to. Utterly delicious with a fantastic recommendation of red wine to go with it. Last meal of our holiday but just brilliant.
