Le Victor Hugo from Veules-les-Roses Menu

What User likes about Le Victor Hugo:
We had a nice dinner here in a relaxed atmosphere. Too cold to sit outside, but luckily our dog was also allowed to enter (and received a bowl of water instantly). We didn't expect much because of the reviews here, but the food was allright and the waiters very friendly. The crème brulee was great! View all feedback.

Located at a nice place with a very beatiful view on the coast is the only possitive I can say about this restaurant. We asked for a table and were told we could take any table on the terrace. Sitting there for 15 minutes a very impolite man approached us "who told you to sit here, this is not possible, please look for another table". Half an hour later we could order and another half an hour later we got something t... View all feedback.

We came to this restaurant twice: the first time for tea and desserts (great crepes!) and then second time for lunch. The service was ok: perfunctory and efficient but a smile would have been nice! The food was good and well priced. Even when it was quite busy -- the food came quick and hot. Moules was excellent and so was the hot chocolate. The location was excellent:being quite high up, we had a lovely view of the beach. The weather wasn't too good though....The restaurant can seat lots of people inside and outside. The toilets were ok too!While the restaurant had a disabled toilet: there is no easy access for anyone who had mobility problems! Long climb up the stairs. There was no ramp suitable for a wheel-chair bound customer.

The restaurant does not make a reservation, so we recommend you go early, and be ready to queue for a table in high season. Very beautiful view of the sea on the terrace. The service is good, a lot of waiting, but there are many people to make the servers do the best. The dishes are good, we had a good lunch in the sun.

Beautiful flat view service a little longer

Took ages to get the waitress to bring the menu, take the order, bring the food and bring the bill (in fact we went inside to find them to pay). Seems to shut really early as well.
