We left v... read more We visited L'ecluse this evening and had a main course and glass of wine each. Total cost €43 approx. Not our first visit - we visited last year also. We left very satisfied. My wife had brochette of lamb with potatoes, veg etc while I had duck in orange sauce. Both dishes were exquisite. Perfectly cooked and presented. Friendly staff. Lovely location facing on to the river.Menu items are priced on the high side but not too bad. The prices asked for the local Mucadet wines (one at €27) and indeed other Loire Valley wines are, however, way over the top. 'Rip off' would be a kind description. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned €27 on 6 bottles of very nice Muscadet in one of the fine vineyards around Vertue.
