The place is romantic, rustic and beautiful and we enjoyed our delicious dinner with a fire crackling in the fireplace, good music and tasty wine. The soup was without doubt the best one we have ever tried and the pasta was freshly made with a ragu to die for. All was topped up with a limoncello on the house in the end. When we are in the Ticino, we normally have our selection of grottos we go to. But as all of them were already closed for the winter break, we chose this one as an alternative, and whilst our visit was a first for us, it will definitely not have been the last time. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back soon!

We can definitely recommend the local risotto with mushrooms, one of the best I have ever tried. For starters I recommend the local cheese and meat plater.
