I’m really disappointed as I write this review. It’s frustrating to see that such a wonderful place, with excellent food, seating, service, and atmosphere, was completely empty except for my dad and me (which had its perks, I suppose). Whenever I'm on vacation, I seek out a standout dining experience, and Bella Gente certainly became the highlight of our trip. The staff was attentive and considerate without being overbearing. The food was outstanding, with generous portions typical of Italian cuisine. My wife ordered the steak strip tagliatelle, which was a special that truly melted in your mouth, and the chef graciously adapted it to be keto-friendly.

The four of us went for lunch. The food was amazingg!!! The portions are amazing!! We had the margherita pizza, rustica pizza, orechete pasta, chicken franchese. All of the food was amazing!! The flavors were true to the Italian core. We had Alex as our server and he was very attentive! Tirmasu was excellent! We will definitely be back.
Bella Gente is a small Italian restaurant on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. We discovered it by accident. The restaurant has 2 sections, the restaurant and the pizzeria. We ate at the pizza section. My wife and I ordered a personal pizza which was more than adequate for both of us.The pizza was superb,some of the best I've had in years. We live about 17,18 miles from Bella Gente and we will be going back.
