Cheap decent breakfast in expensive Manhattan NYC. Unpretentious, 8 tables inside, no outside tables. Cash only 2 fried egg and cheese sandwiches in toast. 2 drinks. $13 With a large selection of options for breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, dinner platters. Kinda a guess on prices when ordering because they've all been crossed out and written over a few times. Most expensive item appears to be a grilled chicken club san... View all feedback.
What Brett T doesn't like about Sam's Delicatessen:
Don't waste your time or money. Cons: Cash only. Multiple insects flying around. Doesn't taste good. Pros: People were kind. Food was inexpensive. Ordered a roast beef sandwich. No bueno. Go somewhere else. View all feedback.

Sam's Deli has the best omelettes, classic NYC' chopt cheese, and sandwiches in the West Village. It is THE best take-out deli in my West Village neighborhood ... the go-to place from r everyone in our neighborhood... such nice people!
I was called homophobic and racist slurs ny employee. I have been a customer there for years but the current staff are racist and homophobic
Extremely pleasantly surprised! Ordered the corned beef sandwich and was fully expecting cheap tough meat, but this was on par with any real NY deli worth its salt. Delicious corned beef, tender and tasteful. Reasonable price as well. Far exceeded expectations. Staff is fine. They’re friendly and likely have to swap between concepts and it’s a food hall so not much service even really needed. Nice option for quick bite while in the casino or coming in from campground or other local spot. Hoping the other menu options are just as good, but at least the corned beef was top notch.
Went for first time today. I live nearby. Very friendly people. Had a great coffee and an amazingly delicious egg and cheese sandwich for $9. Prices are very reasonable for this West Village location. It's old school and great. Highly recommended. Breakfast bliss.
