This is a great little diner to stop at on a country drive. Thank goodness for the new owners! Mom had delicious fish and chips (huge portions, crispy and hot), Honey had the Muddy Waters burger with gobs of flavour alone and then even better with the bacon and cheese. It's was well presented and do they EVER know how to make fries! If your only complaint is the value get is HUGE....it's great! I had the hot turkey.... View all feedback.

The service was excellent, with the convenience of a service call button available when needed. The bar food was decent, making it a great spot for social gatherings and watching sports. View all feedback.

The garlic mashed were the best I've ever had in a restaurant! Cheerful, positive staff, cold beer, great grub. Ww will be back again and again. Total winner! Great job folks!
The food was excellent and the service was quick. The restaurant could use a little sprucing up. Hopefully the new owners with scrub and clean everything before they open under new management in November, We wish Martha well as she retires and heads to Spain for a much deserved rest.
As you barrel down Hwy #38 observing the speed limit and noticing the build up of traffic in your rearview mirror, decide to take your lunch break in Verona instead of waiting to reach the big city (Kingston). What you will find are cheerful people who will bring you a decent meal at a decent price. It isn't gourmet food, but it is better than most roadside restaurants - freshly cooked with quality ingredients and with a number of interesting options on the menu. Whatever you order, take it with fries - they are definitely not a waste of ketchup! The price is also very reasonable as well.
We go regularly to Martha's and we are brought our coffee/tea almost before we sit down! The Greek Omlette is my favourite!
Best breakfast around and excellent service. There's lots of parking and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this also for lunch or if your looking to book a special dinner party.
