Yayoi - VERONA

I called to ask if its Japanese chef and owner I was told yes after arriving in restaurant in reality, are chinese, cant speak a word of Japanese language and location was far away from city area, adding the food taste and ingredients were mediocre, what a bunch of lies and real Japanese are cultured honest dignity people not liars.

My wife is from Tokyo and strict on japanese food, especially on freshness of fish for sushi. This small restaurant (more a take away, but there are few seats on the bar) convinced all the family. Fish was fresh and with good taste. We were travelling around verona and were looking for a japanese restaurant to change after pasta, pizza and another italian food for 10 days.

Yayoi is the perfect takeout for a large group. They offer a wide range of plates of different sizes and both the price and quality are very good. Lovely service and good advice, too. Good all-round.

Small take away place with possibility to eat inside. Sushi is good, fresh fish and ingredients. Not wow, but good if you 're up for quick sushi or sushi on go .
