We called into Tapasotto one evening for dinner. The restaurant is airy, clean and comfortable. The welcome was typical Italian warmth the service excellent. The menu was a little different to so many restaurants in Italian cities, and all the better for it. Potatoes and leeks have never tasted like this before. Tapasotto is a little different a little quirky. If you are in Verona and want something a bit different, without going all Heston Blumenthal, try here.
Warm little restaurant we found in a back road. Delicious tapas, small portions. We enjoyed lunch and a wine here. No english menu.
Great place for a relaxed lunch (before our trip to the Bentegodi). Perfectly executed small plates we had beef tartare, ravioli, quail’s legs, crunchy rice. Good selection of wines and a nice vibe to the place would be more than happy to go back.
We had a lovely lunch during our stay in Verona, our waiter was extremely pleasent and was able to recommend a few selections. The Onion Foam with Tomato Bread was quite savory and the Roasted Cauliflower had a nice char and flavorful cream sauce. The cheese selection was quite lovely and was a nice hit. Would highly recommend for a lunch/brunch option.
A pleasant surprise. The place is beautiful and welcoming, as are the staff. The dishes are sophisticated and unique, and so delicious (I didn't have time to photograph them). Highly recommended for a unique dinner experience, craving traditional flavors revisited with a fresh, youthful twist.
