The Fresh Market - Vero Beach

This is one of the most disappointing health food stores I have ever visited. They really don't offer anything special that you can't find at Publix. There were no vegan options, such as whole foods or strawberries, that you’d typically expect from any other grocery store. Their lack of awareness regarding vegan products is evident; even their brand of vegetable broth contains honey, which is not vegan. Additionally, their prices are higher than average. I only went there occasionally when Publix didn’t have the ingredients I needed for a vegan dish, but every time I found that this store didn’t have what I was looking for either, making it a waste of time. I now avoid this place entirely.

As a seaman who frequently travels to Florida, I have a particular fondness for Fresh Market over Publix. It's a specialty store that offers unique items, including vegan mayo, dressings, and frozen foods. You will definitely enjoy their incredible selection of products. Living on a sailing boat, I find cooking much easier when using their ready-to-eat options. I highly recommend paying a visit to this place!

I was surprised by the limited vegan options at Fresh Market. The prices are high, and I expected it to be more like a Whole Foods, but it doesn't quite measure up.

This is one of the most disappointing health food stores I’ve ever been to. They really don’t have any specialty items that Publix doesn’t carry now. They had no vegan prepared foods like Whole Foods or Earthfare or literally any other health food supermarket. They have such little awareness of vegan food, that not even their brand of vegetable broth is vegan (honey). And their prices are higher than usual. I pop in there occasionally when Publix doesn’t have an ingredient for a vegan restaurant and usually find this place doesn’t have it either and it was a waste of time going in. I avoid this place altogether now.

I’m a sailor. I fly to Florida on a regular basis. The Fresh Market is my favorite market over Publix. They are a “specialty” store carrying unique items. You’ll find vegan mayo, vegan dressing, and vegan frozen foods. You’ll enjoy the delicious produce section. I love purchasing the ready-to-cook produce because I live in a sailboat. Cooking is much easier. Make sure to visit this place.
