Tgi Fridays Vero Beach

Any time we're down here this is the restaurant we end up going to on one day, simply because they are open late and we have picky eaters among us. On this trip we sat in the bar area so that we could watch the Men's figure skating in the Winter Olympics which they had on two monitors in to different NBC stations. We weren't that hungry so we only ordered up appetizers. My mother got the chicken quesadilla while I got the loaded chicken nachos. The server came back to our table to inform me that they were out of queso that was the centerpiece of the nachos and if I would accept melted shredded cheese instead. That was fine because I really wanted the nachos. She came back with the appetizer informing me that the chef found some queso but it wasn't enough so me melted down the shredded cheese for the rest. Yay! We snacked on our apps and watched the men slipping and sliding on the ice hahaha. We were content with our food and service and besides, this is our go-to place for before and after powwow weekend shenanigans.

Summary(20 min wait, no service, served newly seated customers instead of us. RIDICULOUS. Was seated, my date and I waited for 20 minutes while 3 waitresses and what I believe to be a manager in a red shirt asked everyone else how they were doing and walked right by us. Two others were seated behind us.. waitress walked directly over to them and started waiting on them. We got up and left and I immediately wrote this review. Don't expect good service from this location.

Don't come to Friday's on a Thursday or any other day...... We sat for an hour in an empty Friday's waiting on a salad, 2, bowls of soup, potato skins (microwaved, not baked)! We did look at a blank blue tv screen in the booth though. The Server was apologizing, telling us she wanted to make sure it was Fresh...That it was not!! Bad food over priced. I don't like posting negative reviews but as a business owner I want to hear the good and bad. A good company will make adjustments along the way others hopefully will go out of business. What did we pay for, $45 for appetizers, no drinks, and poor service was terrible.

This is going to be a short post because there was nothing to write home about, although that's to be expected at chains like Friday's. I wasn't hungry so I ordered a side of broccoli and what came out seemed almost passive aggressive, and slightly comical. It was just one big stalk of undercooked broccoli. My husband and mother in law got burgers and they said they tasted good (not great) but we're so incredibly greasy and messy, which killed the enjoyment of it. The fries were good, however. So eh, it's a typical Friday's. It's food, kinda ok, but nothing special at all.

Very, very disappointed! We were working a POP up at the Mall over the weekend and wanted to have a decent meal, so online they advertise 2 entree's for $14.99. My sister placed an order for both of us, they cut a chicken breast in 1/2 and provided mashed potatoes as our side dish. What a joke, never going back!
