Kilted Mermaid - Vero Beach

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It has a cozy family-owned atmosphere with a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Thor, the owner, made us feel at home with his recommendations and friendly conversations. My wife especially enjoyed the mermaid tail cocktail. The menu is simple yet delicious, with a vegan selection available. The live band on Friday night created a cool and eclectic vibe. We loved the chicken curry pie and samosas. The prices were very reasonable.

Love this place! great eating great entertainment great staff! I have the cured chicken cake that had large chicken buds and fresh vegetables in the inner. the woman has the Dahl court. she said it was different at first, but the more she ate, the more she liked it.

After catching a late flight into the city, we stumbled upon a dinner spot that was still open on a Tuesday night - The Mermaid. Thank goodness for Google, because we had a fantastic experience from the decor to the food. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a group of musicians playing Celtic music, adding to the lively atmosphere. I highly recommend this spot!

There should be more restaurants like this one! Upon entering, we noticed a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. We chose to sit outside under a canopy, which was a good choice as it started to rain. We began our meal with a delicious appetizer of seared tuna with a tasty sauce. I opted for the chopped salad with added chicken, which had wonderful flavor combinations between the dressing and the caramelized goat cheese. My husband chose the steak sandwich, which he devoured in record time. I could hear the satisfying crunch of the toasted Ciabatta bread. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!

This place is a gem in every way. Beer and wine choices are extensive. Outdoor biergarten is spacious. Had the fisherman's pie and was very tasty. Staff is very friendly and on top of everything. Live music many nights and a very great musician tonight when I visited. A must visit place if in Vero Beach!
