Little Tex Restaurant - Vernon

Lunch here is always tastyA bit on the expensive side, but it seems to always be busy, and they've been in business for decades.

With extremely few Mexican/Tex Mex restaurants in Vernon, we tried Little Tex with fairly high hopes of delicious food.

Dinner with friends was great Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night Service was fantastic Food fresh and hot Love the decor.

It was about 6pm on a Thursday night. When we walked in they weren't Overly busy, maybe half full. We were greeted and told to take a seat. The waitress brought us a couple of menus and i don't even know if she said "Hi !" when dropping them on the table. she said something to the table before us that i couldn't make out and was expecting the same speech when she came to us - Nope. we decided on what we wanted and sat, and sat.., and sat.did i mention no one even took our drink order. 20 mins later - we got up and walked out with no one even asking why.i should mention this is the 2nd time the exact same thing has happened in this place. i gave them a second chance.., because everyone has bad days.., but twice in a row ?? WOW - GREAT service, i think not !!!Don't waste your time here.

An interesting little place. Slightly higher price range. Helpful staff. You must want to eat Mexican style if you go there.
