Contribute FeedbackOn my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order when I reached the counter, but the friendly staff member said, "I know exactly what you need; my sister is a vegetarian." He heated up a large laffa wrap and layered it beautifully: first with a generous portion of delicious yellow couscous, then some perfectly roasted mixed vegetables (like broccoli, carrots, and peppers), followed by shredded purple cabbage, and finally topped it all off with a generous amount of hummus. He rolled it all together, and he was spot on! I would never have thought to combine those four layers, but it worked wonderfully. Now, I enjoy it about three times a month. I’m not a vegan, so feel free to correct me if I’m mistaken, but I believe it's a vegan sandwich. I noticed the guy in front of me wasn't aware of this, though. They also offer falafels, which I haven’t tried yet. I should mention that this sandwich was originally created at the Glenview Roti, but I’ve also been to the Vernon Hills location where I got the same personal touch with my order, as the menu is the same there. Just make sure to tell them, "laffa wrap, couscous, roasted veggies, shredded purple cabbage, and lots of hummus." If enough of us start ordering it, they might even consider making it a permanent menu item. Give it a try—you’ll really enjoy it!
The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. However, there were no vegan options available.
Sure! Could you please provide the full text of the restaurant review you'd like me to rewrite?
