I love this location so much, it’s very clean and the service friendly and professional. I especially like when the manager, I believe Sam, is there she always has a smile on her face and makes you feel welcome. If I could I would give this place 10 stars just because of her. View all feedback.
What Hector Alexander Martinez doesn't like about Roti Mediterranean Bowls. Salads. Pitas.:
Heard so many great things about the food here (not necessarily this location) went in to try it today. The two guys at front counter were completely disengaged and not welcoming at all. Were mumbling when speaking to them and rolling their eyes and sighing as if they were just ready to go home. Not a good look. I stopped in with my daughter for the first time. The manager could clearly see we were new to the menu and walked us through the selections and answered our questions on spices with recommendations. Portions are very generous and super tasty! Even my picky eater raved about her bowl. Will definitely be back!
So my business catered this for lunch and I’ve never tried or even considered. The chicken and rice, then fresh cut tomatoes and cucumbers was perfect. It had a pita option which I did use some sauce (honestly not sure what flavor it was white) anyway for my tastes it was good and can’t wait to try out the place fresh myself. Sorry for the very Eton picture but I didn’t think to post until late and it’s at least an idea of the look of the rice and the chicken and the tomatoes. The cucumbers are mini cucumbers, and chopped up also. Obviously delicious that’s why they’re gone lol.
Roti has long been a favorite of mine, and tonight I ran in to grab food shortly before closing. I had been having a bad day, and the staff was so kind even though they were very obviously closing. The food was still warm and looked fresh just a half an hour before closing, and it was delicious! So grateful for the Vernon Hills Roti staff!
No trash bin by the napkins and pricey, but can’t get these exact flavors anywhere else and it’s consistent across time and space (location).Food: 5/5
The place was dirty and messy. Every table outside was dirty. The floor inside needed to be swept. I asked them to please clean a table outside for us. The young woman did right away but left without cleaning the other two obviously dirty tables. Why?The food was bland and did not seem particularly fresh. The work station untidy. The workers were pleasant but clearly not hard workers based on the atmosphere. It was $35 for two small bowls with cauliflower rice, veggies and falafel. Crazy expensive. Served in a paper bowl.Save your money and go to Pita Inn or one of the other dozens of restaurants that will provide a good meal, clean atmosphere and who care about providing a excellent dining experience.
