I try to get back every year! A place surrounded by nature, surrounded by greenery and animals. A rustic place with home cooking and cooking! I might be back this weekend. View all feedback.
What Rita C doesn't like about Azienda Agrituristica Cergallina:
Very nice location. Friendly and helpful owner. Prices too high compared to the quality and the little variety of food. People who stayed a few days, always ate the same things! View all feedback.
I really recommend this place!! The person who manages it, Judith, is really great!! Nice and attentive to the customer, cooks excellent dishes that only ask to be eaten, maybe in the company of friends, or becoming friends of other visitors of the place, which can often happen considering the climate that Judith also contributes to creating! Situated in the absolute tranquility of the hills of Piacenza, near Castell'Arquato, you immerse yourself in the silence and peace of the countryside, you exchange cuddles with his dogs and cats, and for the joy of children (and also of the great ones who maybe live too immersed in the life of the city you can find face-to-face with horses, donkeys, cows... Swimming pool in warm months, pleasant walks in spring and autumn... In short, to try!!! I always found myself very well, both with friends and family... trust Judith!! ; Hello, Matthew
I've known and attended Cergallina for many years. I brought you friends and colleagues. Once I've even stayed for you. I was stuck in the snow. Everyone was thrilled. Ideal for a weekend of peace and tranquility. Among animals and nature, genuine food and good wine. This season then the colors of the woods are fantastic and the panorama of the surrounding valleys is really beautiful. The Australian owner is very friendly, very friendly and hospitable. I strongly recommend it to everyone. Children will particularly appreciate the presence of donkeys, horses and other animals. Adults the warm and hospitable environment and good food. Ideal for taking a breath of oxygen from the city.
We arrive on December 31st in the afternoon. The place is beautiful in the hills of Piacenza and with many animals, but... 1) The room is warm, but the bathroom is cold: there is no warm. It's good to keep the bathroom open. 2) We ask for a white pasta instead of one of the first two of the nod and we are told that it is not possible because of the much to do for the nod. 3) Dinner for children is at 7.30 p.m., but at 6.45 p.m. we are told that by request of others is anticipated at 7 p.m. We prepare for running, we arrive with a few minutes late and we find that 'it is a pirophile with pasta at the center of the table now cold, our baby obviously does not eat it. 4) The restaurant is ice cream. To heat it, it is huge, there is only one fireplace and a convector heater in the same corner. It'll stay cold all night. Before we go to sleep we already have maldigola and nose cola. 5) There are games for small children, but the buildings are lurid 6) During the census we agree to put in pajamas our little girl and give her some warm milk because there is a break between the first and the second. We come back and the seconds have already been served, our stalled places and no one deserves to ask if we want them. 7) We wake up on 1 and discover that our little girl has chickenpox. We decide to leave immediately also for respect of other families with children and we are asked the balance of the whole package, despite we made a meal on 4 and one night on two. 8) In the jam of the breakfast in one slice spread we find two cherry hazelnuts. Over the years we have turned many farms because it is a type of holiday we like. But we were so bad. With anyone we talked about the guests present, everyone said they will not come back
Very basic kitchen, but sincerely they did not miss anything, indeed each course was commented with the same positive judgement, the owner really snapped and nice
We stayed this Sunday to eat in 25 adults and children and objectively the place is very beautiful and with enormous potential. But the border between rustic sympathy and rudeness is very labile and for my opinion and others has been overcome on several occasions by the owner ... but this is personal opinion. Objectively, if you run a catering business, don't put horses and smiles under the dining room and if you do, you care to keep clean to avoid the invasion of flies and parrots. Food not bad apart from the fried cake bisunta (2 times grease) but for 35 euros around here you can find much better as quantity and quality and service. Never again and it is a sin
