Bistro Fontana Grill & Pizzeria - Verl

If you have to go quickly in the evening or you don't know what to eat, you'll find it quick. We have been here for dinner more often since the opening and delivery/collection has also been more often. We've never been disappointed until then.

The food was actually quite ok, but the (non-existing) service and the atmosphere have shaped a very bad experience. For the first time we sat for 10 minutes without an operation taking up the order. After we called a few times aloud, then someone came unwillingly. He was clearly disappointed that we asked about the map and didn't know what to eat. Some regular guest then also got stupid sayings as if it were a bad idea to ask for the service. After we had ordered, it took half an hour until the food came. For a diner and pizza restaurant, this is a little slow. But that was nothing, because after we had a 2nd call after a repeated call. It took 15 minutes to order beer. That might have come later if I hadn't stood up and asked. That's what the previously mentioned regular guest took as a template for foreign-minded jokes, which really ruined us the evening. My recommendation, who does not like foreigners and who does not care about service and service is at home in the Kaunitzer Grill. Those who prefer better dining, ambience and service should simply drive 6 km further to Verl. At Evim's restaurant you are literally better served.

Eating as always very tasty ABER: We had ordered two pizzas and one serving of Pommes by phone to pick up. It would take an hour, we were told. We've been fanning for a long time, but for a Friday, okay? We were not exactly 10 minutes before the end of that hour. That we should have waited 10/15 minutes, okay? My husband ever paid, and the waiter wanted us to get the food out of the car. 20 minutes later, my husband went in again to ask. They said it'd be done right away, and he'd bring us the food out. So we waited. In the meantime, more people came and went to pick up. Again ten minutes later (so now 20 minutes after the food was originally ready), my husband went in again, where he was told again that it was not long. So slowly but surely we got bad mood... Another 10 minutes later, now we waited a total of 40 minutes before the door, then I went in. I saw two pizza boxes and one serving of pommes standing up to keep warm on the oven. When the waiter looked at me asking, and I told him that I wanted to ask again about the two pizzas and the pommes, he immediately took the things from the oven and wanted to take off. When I told him that the food was already paid by my husband, he only looked at me confused and asked Hä? Then I only finally took the food, turned around and said yes, my husband was already two times in there and we're waiting for 40 minutes outside. When we finally got home and could eat, it was delicious, but we couldn't really enjoy the food... No nice start on holiday and we will certainly not forget that!

There are no complaints, so every snack should be. Clean, well maintained great price performance ratio. We were there in the early afternoon hours and could see how the Lahmancun itself was made. Great are also the opening hours, so whoever has a bit earlier hungry gets something to eat here between 3 pm and 5 pm and can look at the preparations for the evening. Tastefully for us one of the best Döner and Gyros products in the area. Schnitzel and Hamburger etc we have not yet been able to taste. more so

Wir wurden bestens versorgt mit leckerem Essen und bedient von freundlichem Personal. We were well taken care of with delicious food and served by friendly staff.
